The Journal of Engineering Manufacture provides a focus for new developments in engineering manufacture, covering technological and scientific research, process development and management implementation in manufacturing.’My priority as Editor is to ensure that the Journal of Engineering Manufacture remains at the forefront of international efforts to report and disseminate scientific advances and new knowledge arising from high quality manufacturing engineering research.The Journal combines a unique, world-class heritage, by setting the agenda in manufacturing engineering research and practice since 1847, with a contemporary drive for leading scientific quality and latest innovations in manufacturing.We welcome papers in aspects of engineering manufacture from manufacturing processes, through to digitalisation of manufacturing, engineering design, production machines and manufacturing systems. Digital twin technologies in manufacturing and the decarbonisation of processes and factories are significant current priorities.
