The Netherlands Quarterly of Human Rights is a leading open access and peer-reviewed human rights journal that publishes the latest evolutions in the promotion and protection of human rights. Published quarterly since 1981, the journal features articles by pre-eminent and emerging scholars from around the world, addressing and debating human rights law issues from an international perspective. We welcome submissions that connect human rights to international relations, history, political science, sociology and anthropology. In addition, the Quarterly publishes recent speeches and lectures delivered on the topic of human rights, as well as a section on new literature in the field of human rights. The peer review system is fully anonymous, with the identity of the submitters withheld also from Executive Board members. Our international board consists of scholars from all over the world.From 1 March 2023, NQHR is participating in a Subscribe to Open (S2O) pilot.
