Dialogues in Urban Research publishes substantive articles, with shorter commentaries and an author response , which seek to critique present thinking and practice and set the agenda for future directions of urban thought, empirical research and teaching. Each issue has two forums, each comprising a substantive article, five commentaries on the article, and the author’s response.The journal will be theoretical in orientation, forward looking, and seek to publish original and innovative work that pushes the boundaries through a unique and innovative format of open peer commentary.
